Product Description

Blue-green algae are a group of protists that are often thought of as algae, but are actually bacteria, belonging to the phylum Cyanobacteria. They can grow in water as well as on land. Blue-green algae are photosynthetic organisms that can generate energy through photosynthesis, and can also perform nitrogen fixation, converting nitrogen in the air into amino acids and proteins that plants can use. Blue-green algae can be used as food or feed, and can also be used to produce biodiesel and biomass fuels. At the same time, blue-green algae can also be used to control water eutrophication and purify sewage. Daruifuno's blue green algae sensor uses a 590nm light source to excite the phycocyanin in the water to produce fluorescence, and measures the fluorescence intensity at 650nm to calculate the number of blue-green algae in the water. The sensor adopts the principle of optics, is small in size, easy to operate, and has a fast detection speed. It is suitable for rapid, frequent and continuous measurements in the field. The BGA sensor can be connected with the blue green algae controller to measure the water BGA value continuously and make control and output the data.
