Circulating water generally refers to industrial circulating cooling water. In factories, cooling water is mainly used to condense steam and cool products or equipment. The OLTU600 online laser Turbidity Analyzer developed and produced by Daruifuno is mainly a precision instrument used to detect the turbidity of industrial circulating cooling water. If the cooling effect is poor, it will affect production efficiency and reduce product yield and product quality. It may even cause production accidents. According to China's domestic standards, the regulations on the turbidity of circulating water are: for intercooled open systems, according to the requirements of the production process, the general water turbidity should be ≤20NTU; if the heat exchange equipment is plate type, finned tube type, spiral plate type, Water turbidity should be ≤10NTU. It is especially widely used for water turbidity detection of water in indirect cooling open systems. In addition, for closed cooling water systems that do not use ultrafiltration purification, or when the filtration and purification effect is not good, a Turbidity Sensor should also be used to monitor in real time whether the turbidity of the cooling water meets the usage requirements. The water quality requirements for surface water, groundwater, and seawater desalination water as supplementary water for open indirect circulating cooling water systems are that the turbidity should be less than 3NTU. The water quality requirements for recycled water as supplementary water are that the turbidity should be less than 5NTU. The measurement range of the OLTU600 online turbidity sensor is between 0.001~100NTU, and it can automatically switch the range to achieve accurate measurement of low turbidity values.

according to our experience, usually the reasons for high circulating water turbidity are as follows:


  • The water turbidity is high and the water quality is poor;
  • The surrounding environment of the circulating water system is harsh and the dust content in the air is high;
