What is suspended solids, and what is the difference between SS and sludge concentration?
Suspended solids and sludge concentration, also known as MLSS (Mixed Liquor Suspended Solids), refers to the concentration of activated sludge in sewage and the concentration of suspended solids in mixed liquid.Traditionally, we refer to the detection requirement of less than 3g/L as the detection of suspended solids concentration, and the detection requirement of greater than 3g/L as the detection of sludge concentration.
