COD is the abbreviation of Chemical Oxygen Demand (Chemical Oxygen Demand), which refers to the amount of oxidant required for the oxidative decomposition of organic substances in water under certain conditions. COD is one of the important indicators reflecting the degree of organic matter pollution in water bodies. The higher the value, the more organic matter in the water body and the more serious the pollution. The COD value is usually used in the monitoring and treatment of industrial wastewater, urban sewage and other water bodies. The online Cod Analyzer includes a Cod Controller and a COD Sensor. It uses UV ultraviolet absorption method. The COD Controller is equipped with 2 relays, 2-way 0/4-20mA current output and an RS485 interface. The Cod Sensor is small and compact, with a measurement range of 0.75~500mg/L or 1~1500mg/L, a resolution of 0.01mg/L, and a measurement accuracy of 3%. The digital COD Analyzer measures accurately and can output data. The COD sensor also comes with a cleaning wiper, which can realize self-cleaning under water. In addition to measuring COD values, online COD analyzers can also display TOC, BOD and turbidity values.
