Turbidity is a measure of the concentration or number of suspended matter or suspended particles in water or other liquids. It is a physical property used to describe the transparency or clarity of a liquid. Liquids with low turbidity are usually clear and transparent, while liquids with high turbidity contain more suspended matter, making them appear cloudy or opaque. The measurement of turbidity requires a Turbidity Analyzer to complete.
The principle of the turbidity analyzer is the scattering of light. When light passes through the liquid, the suspended matter scatters the light, making the liquid appear cloudy to the observer. The measurement unit of turbidity is usually NTU (Nephelometric Turbidity Units) or FTU (Formazin Turbidity Units), and these units are determined according to specific measurement standards and instruments.
Turbidity meters are important in many fields, especially in water quality monitoring, environmental protection, drinking water treatment and industrial process control. By monitoring and controlling turbidity, it is possible to assess the level of suspended solids in a liquid, ensure water safety and quality, and keep industrial processes functioning properly.

Daruifuno's turbidity meters are all digital, with two types for measuring high turbidity range and low turbidity range. There are four kinds of matching turbidity sensors, and users can choose according to their own needs.

Different Types of Turbidity Analyzers
Online digital turbidity analyzers are used to measure turbidity values in water quality in real-time. The turbidity sensors are all digital type with RS485 interface and support Modbus protocol. OPTU series turbidity sensor adopts infrared scattering method, which can measure the turbidity value between 0~4000NTU; OLTU series turbidity meter adopts laser scattering method, flow-through structure design, can measure low range turbidity value between 0~100NTU. Turbidity analyzers are widely used in surface water monitoring, industrial wastewater, waterworks, sewage and other industries.
