In order to prevent metal corrosion in the water vapor system in power plants, the pH value of water vapor must be strictly controlled. In the power plant's steam and water sampling system, boiler feed water system, condensate polishing system, sewage and wastewater treatment system, gray water treatment system, desulfurization system, circulating water system, internal cooling water system, etc., as long as there is water and steam passing through , all require the use of a pH analyzer. The APX1-G2 online Ph Controller developed and produced by Daruifuno is specially designed for power plants and pure water. It is equipped with ASP500N grounded pH electrode and can cope with the special pH measurement environment of power plants. Usually in the environment of power plants, the use of pH meters encounters many problems, especially when measuring pure water, including condensation water, feed water, etc. The conductivity is very low, generally between 2uS/cm~10uS/cm, the resistance is very high, and the water is very pure. , which brings great difficulties to measurement.
So how to solve the impact of pure water on pH measurement?
1. Check the air tightness of the water sample circulation pipeline. PTFE gaskets should be added to the joints to ensure that there are no trachoma in the pipeline to prevent the absorption of CO2.
2. A pH electrode with pure water measurement characteristics should be selected. The measurement electrode is preferably a low-resistance glass membrane, and the reference electrode is preferably an electrode with a large liquid junction area, good salt bridge solution penetration, stable liquid junction potential, and an electrode that is not easily blocked.
3. Prioritize the use of stainless steel flow cells and ensure good grounding to reduce the influence of flowing potential.
4. Strictly control the flow rate at the inlet of the instrument, try to maintain a constant low flow rate measurement, and avoid changes in pH measurement values caused by drastic changes in flow rate.
5. Frequently replace or clean the fiber filter element of the instrument inlet filter to prevent iron and copper oxides from contaminating the electrode.
6. The pH electrode must be cleaned and maintained. For grease contamination, clean it with neutral detergent. For metal ion contamination of Cu and Fe, clean it with 10% dilute hydrochloric acid. After cleaning, it should be cleaned immediately with demineralized water and soaked for 24 hours to restore performance.
7. The water vapor control indicators refer to 25°C as the base temperature, and the temperature compensation of the Ph Meter cannot correct the pH temperature change of the solution. Therefore, controlling the temperature of the constant temperature water tank at 25°C can reduce the temperature effect.
